Begin with your symptoms and history

You do not have to choose a treatment before describing what hurts. Start with the tasks that have become difficult, such as turning your head or sitting through work. Bring those concerns to your assessment and ask which options fit the findings.

Understand what a treatment includes

At The Collision Care Clinic, chiropractic is a physician-managed service delivered through local network chiropractors. Your clinic physician may include it when it fits your diagnosis and recovery plan. The clinic coordinates the referral; the chiropractor provides treatment at the partner's office.

Ask how the plan will be reviewed

Ask what each treatment is meant to change and when you will review whether it is helping. Ask your care team to explain the proposed treatment, where it will happen, and what you should report between visits. A useful question is: "What are we trying to improve, and what will make us change the plan?"

A little clarity before your first call

Questions before you begin

Should I do physical therapy or chiropractic after a car accident?
Your examination guides the treatment plan. You do not need to choose a combination of therapies yourself. At The Collision Care Clinic, physical therapy is the primary rehabilitation service. Chiropractic care, when part of your plan, is physician-managed and delivered through our provider network.
